Christmas In Dixie

Last night, the weather man scored major points with an accurate prediction of the first SNOW of the season in the Deep South. This morning, we all awoke to a very thin blanket of white outside. Now for most folks, I realize this would constitute a non-event - an annoyance not even worth mentioning. But for those of us who grew up here in the South, no matter how old we get, a little snow still brings with it an almost mystical power that takes us back to childhood. The chance to form a snow man, snow angel, snow ball, snow fort, snow cone (gross, I know). Anyhow, you get the idea. Today was the first time my daughters, Maddie and Elizabeth, experienced snow like this. Even though it only lasted a few hours, we snapped a few photos for the album. Enjoy!
