The Moving Story of David Livingstone

I was moved by this story the first time I heard it and I've been moved by it each time I've heard it since.  David Livingstone was a Scottish native who dedicated His life to exploration and missions on the continent of Africa.  He was an explorer, a scientist, an anti-slavery crusader, and a dedicated Christian missionary.  He became one of the most popular and heroic figures of 19th century Britain.  He was later accused by critics for neglecting his family because of these exploits, but as always, there are two sides to every story.

The following story about the life of David Livingstone is an excerpt from a message delivered by Dr. Ravi Zacharias from RZIM's "Let My People Think":

Although Livingstone saw relatively few converts as a result of the missionary efforts during his own life, the lives of the thousands of people he influenced and those who did accept Christ have been countless.
