Amazing Homemade Pizza

Great pizza first requires a great pizza dough. All you need is two Tsp Fleischmann's Yeast, 4 Cups unbleached A/P flour, 1 1/2 cups warm water, 2 Tsp sugar, 1 Tsp salt, and 1/4 cup olive oil. Combine the sugar, 1/2 cup warm water, and yeast - allow to sit 5 minutes. In a large bowl combine all ingredients and integrate with a fork until no more liquid remains. Dump contents onto a working surface and knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes, dusting with more flour if it seems sticky. Place dough into a bowl and cover with a towel for 1 hour. Punch down and then allow to set another 45 minutes. Now the dough is ready (makes two pizzas).
These elements are simple but amazing. Once the dough is prepared, place on a prepared surface and roll out thinly, adding flour as needed. Place on a pizza stone or pan and add fresh ingredients like homemade pizza sauce, onions, large slices of tomato, olives, peppers, chopped flat leaf parsley, oregano, basil, whole milk mozzarella, and grated Parmesan - fresh is key. For meat toppings, I prefer deli pepperoni because it is better, larger, and thinner than the pre-sliced stuff you buy. Cook in a preheated oven at 400 degrees about 18-20 minutes. Cut and enjoy. If you give this a try let me know; I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
